Terms of Service

1. Description of services

Nuno Valencia provides specialist consulting services in data engineering, business intelligence, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Services include data architecture design, pipeline development, dashboard creation, predictive modelling, and data strategy advisory.

2. Quotation and engagement

Every engagement requires a written quotation accepted by both parties. Work begins only upon signature of the relevant service agreement. No work will commence without a signed agreement.

3. Invoicing and payment

Invoicing is done by agreed milestones or on a monthly basis as specified in the contract. Payment is due within 30 calendar days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Overdue amounts will accrue late payment interest in accordance with applicable law.

4. Intellectual property

Once the full agreed amount has been paid, the client retains intellectual property over the code, models, and documentation delivered specifically for their project. Nuno Valencia retains ownership of methodologies, generic frameworks, and reusable components developed prior to or independently of the project.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of technical, commercial, and strategic information exchanged during service delivery. This obligation applies during the engagement and for 3 years after its conclusion.

6. Limitation of liability

Nuno Valencia's maximum liability to the client, for any cause, is limited to the total amount invoiced and paid for the project to which the claim relates. In no event will Nuno Valencia be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss not directly attributable to the services provided.

7. Dispute resolution

In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation. If mediation fails, both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
